ICON 4 GOES TO THE WEST COAST

We are pleased to announce ICON 4, the next international Illustrator's Conference, will be held in San Francisco in July of 2005.

The ICON 4 Board is currently crafting a program which will make the conference an inspirational, practical and thought provoking event for everyone involved in the illustration, graphic design and related educational fields. In order to make ICON 4 the best conference it can be, we're asking for your thoughts, feedback and other comments with our online ICON4 survey. The more input we get, the more we can provide you with the sessions and speakers you'd most like to see.

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT A SURVEY IS MAY 17

Thanks for your participation. We look forward to seeing you in San Francisco in July 2005!

Sell out crowd in Philadelphia

More than 570 people attended ICON3 making this year's event the biggest ever! Thanks to all of the attendees, speakers, staff and sponsors that helped us make this conference a remarkable experience.

Here are pictures and some sketches by the one and only Steve Brodner that capture the spirit of our event.

Paula Lerner has posted some great photographs on her site: http://lernerphoto.com/icon/. Describing these photos Paula wrote: "Lately I have been using my digital camera like a sketch pad, and experimenting with the technique of using a slow shutter speed to get an impressionistic kind of image."

In the coming months we will be posting transcripts as well as information about the next event, so stay tuned!
