Since fall 1990, Anne Telford has been the managing editor of Communication Arts. She is responsible annually for 1,500+ editorial pages and writes many feature articles herself. An avid traveler, she has increased CA¨s international coverage and helped develop the magazine¨s technology section. Prior to her tenure at CA, she was senior, and then managing editor of Northern California Home & Garden. She received a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin (and worked briefly at Texas Monthly after graduation). Anne is also a published poet and photographer with credits ranging from Emigre to the San Francisco Chronicle and Chronicle Books. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and five-year old daughter.
