David Starr is Executive Producer/Head of Marketing and one of the founding members of Curious Pictures. His responsibilities at Curious are too many to list but they include marketing oversight of all divisions of the company.

Shortly after his graduation from Hampshire College (Amherst, MA), where for a time David was in charge of the school's public relations efforts, he moved to New York City and established David Starr Public Relations, representing composers, post-production facilities, authors, charitable institutions and even the Polish government, all the while running a successful catering service, Chef David, Chef Paul, in Manhattan.

For seven years David was Executive Producer at Broadcast Arts with responsibility for sales and the marketing of the live action/special effects studio. Never content with just one ball in the air, David, who earlier in his career had been Executive Producer for Zack SmithMusic and Executive Producer at John Petersen Music, launched CommercialMusic, a repping service for composers.
